The Interinstitutional Master of Educational Psychology (MIPE) started in 2006 as a result of a shared vision of four Catalan universities —Universitat de Barcelona, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Universitat de Girona and Universitat Ramon Llull—. It is an official post-grade program ending at a Master of Science and has the mention of International Master’s Programme (IMP) granted by Comisión Ejecutiva de Ayudas Universitarias. In 2016, the MIPE has been accredited with EXCELLENCE by the Agència per a la Qualitat del Sistema Universitari de Catalunya.
The MIPE offers three distinct educational itineraries and specializations: two addressed to the professional practices (Psychoeducational Intervention and Psychoeducational Intervention in Secondary Education) and another with an academic and research focus (Psychoeducational Investigation). Any option leads to the final official Interinstitutional Master of Educational Psychology Degree.
In addition, the MIPE is linked to the Interinstitutional Doctorate of Educational Psychology -DIPE– through the branch of Psychoeducational Investigation.
